Why Won’t the US Government and Congress Allow a Congressional Investigation on the USS Liberty Attack?

It’s a simple question.  The US Government has had many many investigations over a myriad of subjects and issues?  What make the Congress turn tail and run at the very mention of the USS Liberty?

Will an investigation expose the financial fealty and fear the Congress feels to another foreign country and the political contributions of Israel’s supporters?  IMHO opinion, you cannot serve or be loyal to two flags. A ‘dual loyalty’ is disingenuous. Ask A. Jay Cristol, just who in the hell does he really serve? Or Micheal Oren?, LBJ-McNamara or Hank Roth?  Cristol (American) took issue with and commeneted on Clark Clifford for ‘seeing though American eyes”. God forbid an American government official should primarily serve the United States.  That’s the problem with “Israel Firsters”, ‘dual loyalty…is that you can’t.

Will it demonstrate that the attack was known to be deliberate and covered up? Is political expediency in reality the only coin  of value of the realm to the Navy, the NSA, CIA and that immoral black hole called Washington DC.?

That political expediency and the abandonment of US armed forces are expendable and required over the truth and justice?

Does it clearly show that a lobby of foreign agents called AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee)  self advertised as  “America’s Pro-Israel Lobby” literally  “owns” the US Congress?, the political parties?, US media and Presidents?

There are more questions than answers. There always has been since June 8, 1967.  more “anti-official versions” opinions, still secrets,  ‘missing’tapes and files, fabricated propaganda, dishonesty academic propaganda.  Even the “Ultra Secret” of WW2″  wasn’t classified  as long as the records of the attack on the USS Liberty.

Why does a ‘friendly fire”, an “accident”, an “unfortunate act of war” yada yada yada need such protection?  What is there to fear? The truth and honesty of the US and Israel versions would be instantly validated and all the doubters would be shown the door at such exposure.

But they can’t. They won’t and they never will.  Because governments never lie. And Israel is our friend and a blessed joyous burden and that this must never be questioned or examined .  Amen.

The only victims are the crew and families of the USS Liberty who were  forsaken and tossed overboard by their elected representatives at the “Altar of the US – Israel “Special Relationship”.

My country right or wrong?  …  perhaps.

I think not.   It is still the most shameful tragedy and cover up in post WW2 America.  The US government ‘sold out.  Whoddathunkit?
