What does the US government know about the attack from the Liberty crew?

By my count, only 321 questions were ever asked of USS Liberty crewmen.

321 Questions were asked at the Court of Inquiry and 321 answers given ‘publicly’.

Only 14 out of  a 294 man crew were allowed to testify in the mad rush to justice . The COI lastes 8 days, the USS Cole COI lasted over a year.

USS Liberty crewman Charles Cocnavitch was sworn in and gave testimony and was not even listed as a witness.  Lloyd Painter’s testimony about the Israeli (MTB) torpedo boats machine gunning USS Liberty life rafts was expunged from the final report altogether.  It ‘officially’ never happened.

Could Madison Ave.,  Beltway lobbyists have done a better PR/cover up for Israel’s interests than the US Navy? The Court of Inquiry was ‘fixed’ by the house and “Israel was off limits” the moment it convened  in London 36 hours after the attack by Adm. McCain from the White House and DoD.  It’s mandated charge to find and explore the facts  and search for the truth ignored and its conclusions  predetermined.

60+ crewmen offered and  were willing to offer testimony yet not allowed  it has been reported.  I suspect nearly all remaining survivors today are still willing to state for the record and history their versions of events.  Hell will freeze first before that is allowed.  It seems service and sacrifice and the truth are far too “dated” when it comes to a politics.

The one question never asked in the NCOI was the how and why Israel attacked?  To this day,  we still do not know.  It’s not what was asked but what was never asked that is really important to the Congress and the US Government’s eternal shame.  The cover up is now more important and dangerous for what it represents as the USS Liberty crew was long abandoned and forsaken 40 + years ago.

John Scott said “The questioning was not probing or in depth.  It was all superficial.”

And we learned that George Golden’s damaged tape recorder cost $219.00 and change. Why are 34 dead and 174 wounded?…..feh

Since June 8, 1967, 246 remaining USS Liberty survivors have never been allowed to tell their story or ask their government a damn thing about the deliberate attack of USS Liberty at the Altar of the US Israeli special relationship.

P.S.  Also in Top Gun Ahrons’ imaginary  “13 USS Liberty comgressional  investigations” minus the NCOI,,,,No Liberty crewmen has ever testified nor was asked a question. 321 questions that’s it, Israel fired nearly three times as many rockets. cannon and missiles as questions asked yet in the end it was the US  Govt. that politically sunk the truth about the USS Liberty.
