It’s time to call the USS LIberty apologists: “Deniers”

I have read many comments of late of the  ‘Liberty apologists’, ‘Israel First’ Americans, neoconservatives, supporters of Israel without exception, etc.   comment on some forums and blogs when discussing the attack on the  June 8, 1967 deliberate attack on USS Liberty  who have started to chime in with an almost orchestrated sameness.

“Its was 40 plus years ago”

“Its ancient history”

“No one cares anymore”

“It’s time to let bygones be bygones”, etc.

“Israel is our bestest friend and buddy”, blah blah  (They are not. Period)

And just  whose fault is this? The survivors and their families?,  the American public that was  ignored? The corporate media that looked the other way?  It’s not their fault that the US government and Israel manufactured and colluded on a cover up and stonewalled any attempt on a  open honest real investigation about the attack despite what the liars and frauds and cover up government officials have written or said.

Can you imagine the front world page outrage of American Jews or Israelis tolerating the same response to Nazis atrocities of  WW2  of  “It’s ancient history” or  “Get over it’?  The outrage  would be a  prolonged display of a 1000 editorials and media reports of  “How dare you?, “anti-Semite comparisons”,  “intolerance”, “hater” etc.  Yet this is what the “Deniers” say about the Libertry survivors, friends and supporters who simple want answers, who STILL seek the truth about the USS Liberty attack  and have simply asked for it and been ignored and forsaken by their elected representatives for 40 years for the game of politics and pandering and Israel lobby contributions.  Probably paid for by US taxpayers as well and by US tax deductions to US Israel organizations.

Call it old fashioned but many still think that murder is murder and still beyond any statute of limitations and simple justice. The Liberty crew isn’t even asking for reparations, just answers and truth which is the least expensive of procurement yet the rarest of coin in Washington DC.

Well the facts are in and known enough for a long time that the attack was deliberate just by the simple fact that Israel, her war rooms, coordinated radio controllers and US surveillance planes discussed the real possibility or assumed certainty of the ship being American, that a simple “double check”, a second look at markings, what type of armaments does she display?, just 30 seconds of the slightest hesitation and thought would have stopped the torpedoing but Israel never even bothered yet neither ship ( L or EQ) could  have done what Israel claimed;  remember the cause  for the attack never happened in the first place and there were 8 previous IDF reconnaissance  flyovers of USS Liberty.  Lulling the ship  to a false security?   Israel says the IDF boats were fired upon yet not one single photo of a single bullet hole in any MTB was ever produced?  I have no doubt that if   it existed, it would have been produced.  Ammo was simply “cooking off” from the dropped  napalm and explosions from missiles, rockets and cannons used against the ship according to sworn testimony of the Liberty crew

The US  flag displayed were mentioned by of the crew without exception,  a US surveillance plane mentioned it as well though, tapes and files are still classified or now “missing” or selectively produced.

We know the Israelis were discussing the issue, “probably American” was a IDF comment when asked the nationality of the ship being attacked by the air force yet twenty minutes later the IDF torpedoed the Liberty killing 25 sailors instantly out of the 34 in their attempt to sink her.

And everybody knows with half a brain knows that “Ooops!” moments and  “accidents ” and ‘friendly fire incidents’ are not combined 3 MTB naval attack noats and two separate air attacks,  all had  constant radio coordination and control in an attack  that lasted one hour and who jammed “US NAVAL radio frequencies” and who fired on and sank USS Liberty life rafts in the water (expunged from the Court of Inquiry records). All of this is on the record.

There has never been a open honest investigation of the attack excerpt a  Court of Inquiry that was politically pre-determined before it was ever convened.

Thus it is time to to call these apologists “DENIERS” and thus link them with genocide deniers.  The political incorrectness in our corporate media will no doubt find this labeling ‘politically inaccurate’  or ‘offensive’ yet the outrage will be more about or pertains to the competition of or inclusion and comparison to the Holocaust. Talk about hypocrisy.

After all deliberate murder is murder regardless of the numbers.  It will accomplish at least two things, demonstrate a sanctimonious hypocrisy and a politically pandering agenda that will not accept that where hundreds or thousands died or just 34  died that murder is always murder and accountable and that justice and the truth and justice need always be pursued or the Rule of Law has become a joke.

Thus they are cover up ‘deniers’.  So mote it be.
