El Quiser and the USS Liberty, Israel’s weakest excuse. A 40+ years pile of Stink.

From Israel’s multiple changes in her stories about her deliberate attack on USS Liberty along with the US Government collusion, nothing stands out more than the fairy tale of “mistaken identity” between Liberty and the Egyptian El Quiseir.  Even the resident comedy attempt by ‘Top Gun’ Cristol and his using subterfuge cannot hide this lame attempt.

Let’s review…

The USS Liberty documents at least six reconnaissance missions  (Many claim eight) by Israel. (Top Gun Cristol never mentions this).  Israel admits that the USS Liberty was identified and recorded as a US intelligence ship in international waters where she had every right to be.

Israel bases her actions on reports on shore bombardments from the sea occurring near El Arish in the Northern Sinai near IDF forces and elects to investigate.

FACT.   This event never happened. No shore bombing occurred.  Yet this is never investigated or ever explained.  Not by Israel or the US government. After all as we later learned,  “we wouldn’t want to embarrass our ally“

Israel claims the ships are regarded automatically as hostile because it was traveling and reported TWICE that said ship was traveling 30 knots.  An impossibility since a “Liberty hull ship” maximum speed going downhill is 18 knots.   And the maximum speed of the  El Quseir, a 1920′s rusting horse carrier steamer is 13-14 knots maximum. (Cruising speed is realistically 10 knots for a nearly 40 year old rusted tramp steamer)  It never left the Port of Alexandria once during the “Six Day War” or the preemptive “Israeli Land Grab War of 1967″ as any honest historian will rightfully call it.  But then again, let’s not “embarrass our ally“ being they are the hypersensitive type.

NEITHER SHIP had the capability or the armaments to do any sea to shore  bombardments to justify Israel’s claim that bombardments occurred when it reality never even happened.  Figure that convoluted bullshit yourself as I wouldn’t want to  “embarrass our ally” because the US Government never asked.  Nor is Israel telling..

Here’s the kicker, lets say that you are on the 50 yard line at you local football game and we all know it’s a 100 yards from goal line to goal line. Thank of the USS Liberty in the middle of the field. Well you’ll have to go an additional 50 yards plus 5 feet to fit the ship.  It’s a well known refitted ww2 ‘Liberty hull” cargo ship. It’s 455 feet long!! The United States built over 2500 of them in 18 shipyards  in WW2 to ferry war material all over the world.  We built them faster than they could be sunk. It was literally the unsung hero cargo ship of WW2.  Slow methodical shipping of huge cargoes to all theaters of the war.  There was not a more recognizable ship design in the world as no country has still ever built more of the same type ship.  These ships plied all the oceans and the Mediterranean as well after WW2.  It was said that Aristotle Onassis  and others used these ships as they were sold throughout the world in the post post WW2 period.   Only two working ships exist today but this was June 8, 1967.  It was neither unknown or a novelty ship design and anybody who ever worked in any navy, worked in any port at that time knew it was a slow moving cargo ship.  30 knots speed and “mistaken identity” my ass.

So back to the football game so your playing on a 150 yard field plus 5 feet and your opponent is a 1920′s horse carrier steamer tha barely makes it past the 90  yard line.   That’s the Egyptian El  Quiseir (Only 275 feet long!) that never left Port during the ear.   (Does anybody really not believe that the vaunted Israeli intelligence services didn’t know the comings and goings  and  activities of every ship’s movement in Suez and beyond during the 1967 war?)  As to displacement the little Egyptian horse carrier that supposedly could weighs 2750 tons.  The USS Liberty weighs in at  10680 tons. Pardon the “David vs  Goliath” and again none of them had those long pointy tubes called ships cannons that could bombard the IDF in the Sinai that never happened in the first place. The only think that that “embarrasses our ally” is their damn nonsensical lies and the US government agreeing with it without proof of any kind and their apologists  still advocating such crap fests.

34 men died on a clear sunny day on June 8, 1967, the USS Liberty had her flag flying , her 5-8 ft. ‘freshly painted’ Western hull numbers (not Arabic),  her named painted on her stern. And Israel and the US government in their many edited and changed  reports  to this day and the US government “officially” agree  that this …
