Attack on The Liberty

Attack on The Liberty

“No reasonable person can read this book and still regard Israel as a loyal ally of the United States. Had these facts been known years earlier, the American relationship with Israel might be very different that what it is today. America might be less tolerant of Israeli land grabs, illegal settlements, Israeli spying, mistreatment of Palestinians, “accidental” bombings of UN Troops, “accidental” shootings of children and women, the “accidental”  killing of Rachael Corrie and other outrages — all supported by the American taxpayers and usually explained away as “tragic accidents”.

As former Secretary of State  (1962-1969)  Dean Rusk put it:

“The attack was and remains a genuine outrage”.

James M. Ennes

The book review is outstanding from a USS Liberty veteran who was wounded in the attack and the first to definitively expose and attack the cover up.  He has been vilified and slandered for doing so.   Ennes’  Assault on the Liberty and James Scott’s  Attack on the Liberty are the pantheon of truth regarding the real history versus the “official” and “approved” Israeli and US government history.
