The apologists and the Israel Firsters will never stop. They can’t allow the truth out and exposure. Somebody is pulling strings and having a hissy fit.
The exposure and consequences of the truth would be devastating to these apologists and the US and Israeli government. Imagine having to admit after 42 years that the attack was deliberate and they always knew this?
And they claim there is no conspiracy? Why the heavy handedness?
Just whose Navy League is this?
Whose country is this? Whose Navy? and auxiliary organizations do they serve?
Do we exist for Israel’s benefit without question? Is the subject and dissent of the Liberty attack immune from open honest discourse, dissent forbidden, search for justice and truth malleable that the shoddy “accident”, “official version” sacrosanct and Holy? It appears so.
Just what does the Navy League fear and who is really being served?
You can’t serve serve two flags. It seems to me that the Liberty Veterans Association watches the backs of Navy while the Navy League throws them under a bus. What else could be their motivation 42 years after the attack and they call them ”conspiracy theorists’? Look in the mirror Navy League.
34 dead forsaken again. Thrown under the bus for Israel again and again. This is “dual” loyalty and neocon patriotism and foreign entanglements and political expediency at its finest except there never seems to be anything “dual” about it.
Israel First always, never mind the US dead, never mind the billions given
and our AIPAC Government agrees. The Navy League of the United States sure does. -jd

Folks, I have recently been suspended by the subject organization because of my passion to tell the Liberty story and the new administrators do not want to hear anything negative about Israel. They have engineered my dismissal without consulting the St. Augustine Navy League (SANL) Council board of directors. The Florida Administrators have been very heavy handed and see to it that I cannot speak to the Council or the board of directors. I have never seen anything like it. These guys define the 11th commandment: Thou shall not condemn or criticize Israel or its supporters.
While in good standing, I created the Capt. William McGonagle Memorial Library project. I would collect used or new books, box them up, and distribute them to some 34 components that our Council supports. I estimate 5000 books have gone through my hands. Because of their action, I am taking steps to create the same project under the LVA instead of the ungrateful SANL. When I gave a box of books, I would talk about the Captain getting his Medal of Honor. Most times, I would simply state that the ship was attacked by Israel but depending on my mood I would say Israel deliberately and brutally attacked the ship and that would drive them nuts.
In addition to the books, I would enclose a copy of the DVD “Dead in the Water.”
This is just another chapter in our struggle. I am still fighting and will advise when or if things change.
Cheers, Ernie

Ernie, Sounds like they cant stand the truth no matter how softly you present you views looks like they care more about Israels feeling than the dead and wounded and the truth about the USS Liberty. I am not one bit surprised some one wanted you gone big time I am ashamed of how you were treated it is UN American in my view the way the IDF NAVY LEAGUE sent you down the road. I will help you in your endeavors just let me know what you want of me.
Keep up the fight.
Phil
